Korean Drama: Healer

I have seen quite a few Korean dramas and most of them are romantic dramas. I think the love stories are always interesting though some of them are very predictable - it's the couple that I am looking forward to. One of the most recent I have watched is Healer.

It's a 20-episode drama with action and romance. I love the plot and how straightforward it is. I am in love with Healer's mysterious persona and with the actor himself - Ji Chang Wook.

Not to mention the killer OST used in the drama, Michael Learns To Rock's Eternal Love. (Watch but don't blame me if you drown from too much feels!!!)

There are so many things to love about Healer but what I love the most is the couple - Park Min Young and Ji Chang Wook.

I rarely see this amount of chemistry between two couples - either in our local TV series, Korean series or US TV series. The chemistry is overflowing and I won't be surprised if they are really comfortable with each other in real life.

I recommend this series and I'm giving it 10/10. No boring episode, everything is smoothly flowing and the scenes are just beautiful executed. Something that I also like about this is that no third part, second lead trying to ruin everything. This is the first Korean drama that I downloaded every episode since I know I may want to watch it again...soon!

P.S. I am now officially a Ji Chang Wook fan!

Watch The Latest Korean Dramas For Free!

I am not from Korea so I can't tune into the my favorite Korean shows. We don't subscribe to cable television as well because I prefer doing things on my laptop and over the internet. I think I watch TV for less than 5 hours a week. I can go on living without a television. The same cannot be said with my gadget and internet connection. These are the only things that keep me sane when everything else is in chaos. If you are a stay at home mom and you will know what I mean :) Aside from reading books, watching movies and TV series online are my online past time. Recently, I found a really good site where you can watch Korean dramas for free. They only have the latest ones but it's on High Def and the subtitles are 100% good.

If you get bored and want to try watching Korean dramas or if you're addicted to it then you can go visit MyAsianTV. One more good news about the site is that there are no annoying ads though there are pop ups when you download but only appear once in every link. Yes, you read it right! You can download the episodes as well - for FREE.

So far, I have download the entire 'Healer' series as well as 'Warm and Cozy'. I am now downloading the 7th episode of Kill Me, Heal me. Will post more when I get the time. I do have an online freelance job every weekdays so I can only squeeze in writing every once in a while!

Have fun watching and downloading! Fighting!!!

Korean TV Series

I am a big fan of TV series and I have watched/been watching some for years now. I have followed some of the best series there is - Dexter, Homeland, Scandal, Prison Break, How To Get Away with Murder . I'm a fan of other feel good series as well - Glee, The Vampire Diaries, You're the Worst, The Originals, The Flash, Orange is the New Black. The only series I haven't had the heart to finish the first season was Lost. Don't get me wrong - it was a good one and the plot is very interesting but the episodes just seem to be dragging. I might pick it up someday since I have the complete Seasons 1 to 4 but not soon. What I am crazy about these past few weeks are Korean TV Series. It must be the good looking guys, the cute pairs or because of the "wholesomeness" of the shows that gets me. Let's face it, western series are mostly bold and direct with a whole lot of bed scenes and bloody fights. With Korean series, the most you can get from most of the pairs are kissing scenes (not with minor actors though) and a very covered bed scene in very mature roles. LOL

I will let you on in the list of what I have already watched on my next post and what I think about them. I will also give you links on where you can find them. This blog has been on hiatus for a few months and I'm hoping to write more from now on. *fingers crossed*
